Daniel led his school’s assessment review when coursework policies met chatbots for the first time, including the dispute with a parent that taught him why detector scores are worthless in an appeal. He leads sessions one, three and four, and chairs the policy drafting in session six.

Twelve years in primary schools as a phase leader and computing lead, followed by three years writing curriculum for primary networks. Priya built the data-handling training her schools ran for staff and governors, and she leads sessions two and five, including the safeguarding material and the conversations with younger pupils about what they disclose to machines.
The organisation behind the programme
Skylight Education Solutions is an established educational initiative that develops curriculum for its own and partner schools internationally. This programme extends that work rather than starting from nothing: the school relationships, the curriculum-writing capability and the habit of writing documents that real teachers actually use were already there. The AI programme is what happened when those partner schools started asking the same question in the same term.
